Historians believe that somewhere around 750 B.C the villages all around began to make cities. Every one of the cities was close to an acropolis. These cities started to get bigger, so they were called city-states. Every one of the city-states had their own rules, goals, and also laws. The Greeks are very loyal to their city or state. All of the Greeks have the same language and believe in the same god or religion.
