Drones? What park needs drones?
I was reading Alex's post and thought that it was interesting that Ol Pejeta Conservancy might use drones to help protect the animal life that lives there. The conservancy doesn't always have enough people to take care of the animals there and poachers are constantly trying to capture these "prized animals". Just last year they lost 50 rhino's to poachers. The drones would be able to film the park constantly and Ol Pejeta conservancy would be able to react to the incidents and help protect the animals. It's also not just that, but the drones can also help with a census that they have in the conservancy too. People are often known for making mistakes and in this case mis-counting can have a huge effect on the animals. Using a drone can really help make the numbers more accurate. Do you think the Drones would be an effective why to keep the animals safe?

Reina, I think that the drones are very effective to keep the park in check, alerting the ranger of tress passing in the park grounds. Unlucky, the drone are way expensive for the reserve, they are counting on the counting funds to get them the drones... Even though the drones wold help.
