Really!! Animal Poaching
According to Logan's Article, Animal Poaching is a big problem in South Africa. That is why they are creating drones to protect the animals. However, the drones are still in the processes of getting better. The main animal that the drones protect are the rhinos, but they have now switched over to Giraffes. Africa is getting tougher in its fight against poaching. New laws have been made with very stiff penalties if broken. Kenya has lost roughly 50 Rhino's, and 20 Giraffe's. This is a big problem and it needs to stop because the overall population of the Rhino's and the giraffe's, will be lost. Do you get how animal poaching is a real problem?

Wow! Animal poaching is a real problem. It's good that there now focusing on giraffes now because it shows that there are approximately 2,000 remain, that's low and many of the Lions are extinct in seven countries. The African Elephant is at risk of extinction in 10 years. A lot of animals are going away pretty fast which is terrible. Fewer than 900 Mountain GORILLA’S are remaining. I have no idea why these people want to kill so many animals for valuables.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting post Zal. I was doing some research and I figured out that another poached and endangered species is the Golden Cat which is a truly magnificent creature so you should look up some pictures of it and the cool part is that it is about the size of a normal cat. Yes I do think that poaching is a big problem because if a species goes extinct then it will mess up the ecosystem.
