While many people were holiday shopping, a team of Airware engineers traveled to Kenya to conduct field tests of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to protect rhinos from the threat of poachers. This small segment of the article was found on Airware.com. Africa has lost a great amount of Northern White African rhinos due to illegal hunting. Poachers hunt for them for their hides and their horns. When Airware placed the drone, they would use it to survey the land to make sure no poachers try to harm these delicate creatures. Although, drones are used in very important missions, it take minimal training to operate one. My thoughts on the poachers killing these animals is, DESPICABLE! Why on Earth would they think that killing an animal, that did absolutely nothing to you, is acceptable? Unfortunately, poaching leads to someone paying the poacher for their dirty work. Its always about the money with everyone! It is absolutely sickening! What are your thoughts about this?
