You spent our money how?
We all know that today the Parthenon is one of the great architectural achievements of ancient Greece, but back then it made Athens'allies pretty mad. While the city states under Athens had to pay tribute to them Athens was using their money quite recklessly. For example to build opulent things such as the Parthenon. That's when things got ugly and Sparta came in and conquered Athens. So my question is do you think our government has ever spent our tax dollars unwisely? Do you think our government may be heading in the same direction as ancient Athens? If you want to learn more about the Parthenon's history Click here!

I must have read over that in my reading cause i never knew that the spartans attacked the athens because of money. If our government is using or tax money to buy stuff they should tell us about it. And no i don`t think the government is going down the same road as the athens.
