Krabi Province, Thailand

Krabi is a place of nature that never fails to impress new coming tourists. It is just breath taking to see, because unlike most beaches Krabi is open, windy, and the sand just doesn't get any nicer. And the scuba diving there is unique and one of kind. It is a must go tourist attraction in South Asia. Its just beautiful looking at it, even if you see a picture of Krabi you could see the gorgeous nature within. And you can easily see why Krabi is such a popular tourist attraction in South Asia. Would you want to go to Krabi
                     I always have a tough time describing the place I'm talking about. I chose to focus on choosing better descriptive words. And in this blog post I tried to give the reader a in person view of Krabi's beautiful scenery. It was a tough task but it is done. Do you think I used good descriptive words?

Lake that's a volcano What?

              In Indonesia  there is many great things to do such as hiking, touring and visiting a famous lake, Toba.  The weather is cool during most days around the lake perfect for hiking around and enjoying the towns foods and cultures. The island in the middle of Toba is almost as big as Singapore! You may like to take a boat there and enjoy the scenery. There is lots to do such as motor boat, water ski, golf,fishing, or just lounge around the hotel. The lake used to be a huge crater of a volcano, but now is a nice water reserve now with a big tourist attraction. Hey people out there reading this post how would you like to go to Toba lake or would you like to go somewhere else?

Point me to Malaysia where the food is!

George Town in Penang, Malaysia, has the best street food in Asia, argues John Brunton. As the city gears up for the George Town Festival, which starts this Friday, he picks 10 stand-out places where you can eat fantastically well, and cheaply.

This was found on The Guardian website. I know that South Asia has some very interesting food choices, but this specific city, named Penang, takes the cake. The spices and soups I’ve heard and read about makes my stomach growl.  I bet Andrew Zimmerman went there already. I The food I want to try the most is the nasi kandar. It’s a soup made of chicken and beef, and I love both! I’m starting to get hungry just thinking about it!

Krabi Province; A Beach Paradise!

     After taking the five second tours of ten different locations in South Asia, the last certainly caught my eye the quickest; a staggeringly beautiful beach shot of pristine sand and gorgeous water, known as the island Ko Lanta in the Krabi Province. I would love to visit this location over the rest because I'm a beach freak; I love the coast and the waves, the sand and skylines. The view from Ko Lanta is stunning, and in addition to the picturesque scenery, rock climbing and SCUBA diving are offered, both of which are things I'd love to try and have been on my bucket-list for a while now. There are also handloom factories to tour and silk to see! Not to mention, if I'm in Ko Lanta, I wouldn't have to worry about using descriptive language in my blog posts, which is something that I struggle with.
    But enough about me; what about you? Would you want to visit Ko Lanka and the Krabi Province and why?

Thailand Beaches

I would like to visit the beaches of Thailand because they look very interesting, however what I would like to visit more is the city of Bangkok because it is a very large city that I have heard so much about. Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, one of the better known countries in the world. Furthermore the average temperature in Bangkok stays the same throughout the summer and winter as an average 80 degrees. It would be very interesting to see the stuff that they have there. There are 50 districts in Bangkok, I wonder if there ever will be a Hunger Games between the 50 Districts of Bangkok. In Thailand more than 1/7 of the population speaks Chinese, I would like to practice my Chinese in Thailand. If my Chinese fails, the area is used to tourists so they speak decent English. Would you visit Thailand? I struggle with constant good work choice.

The Angkor Archeological Park Complex Temples

(Focusing on working more transitions into my writing)

The Angkor Archeological Park in Cambodia is filled with historical monuments and is a very big tourist attraction for the location. However, the complex is incredibly large and has several structures so that it is guaranteed to impress people. Subsequently, this means that it would take a good deal of time to explore and see the whole thing. That being said, you should at least be able to see some of the biggest things there; Angkor Wat, Bayon and the vine-covered Ta Phrom. I would imagine that there would be some amazing photo opportunities there, as well. If you had the chance to go there, would you expect to sight-see a lot there, or only see a few things before leaving?

Blog Episode VIII: Aspen Aw8s

Nope...not a typo in the title. Just me being ecstatic about heading out to Snowboard in Colorado in a few days! Two to be exact, but who's counting?

Simple quest this time. I'm going to point you off in the direction of 10 Awesome Things to see and do in Southeast Asia. The link shows you small photos and gives a small blurb about two handfuls (get it?) of great places to visit in this largely tropical region. Small blurbs. Like blurbs that you and I each were able to read with ease. So don't just turn around and throw those back at me...I've already read them! So after choosing one of the places, do a little research and fire away! Which place would you most like to visit and why? What myriad reasons can you give to make your case?

Grading: the usual requirements all apply. You know...spelling, a hyperlink, 100+ words and end with a question. Those are good for a total of six points. For the last four, this is where you can work to be a better writer on an area that you recognize is a personal weakness or a personal goal. Point out your chosen area by using and underlining an "I struggle" or "I would like to expand my writing to include" statement, such as I often struggle with word choice or I would like to try adding alliteration. Doing so will get you your seventh point, And your eighth, ninth and tenth points will be for using and underlining three correct examples of your chosen area of weakness or writing goal...kinda like I did in the previous two paragraphs.

(In case you are struggling, I often see errors in comma use, apostrophe use, word choice and word usage. You could also try to expand your writing by pointing out that you would like to try your hand at certain literary devices like similes (I know!), metaphors or alliteration. Please plan to play with the words on your plate if that is the case.)
