One of the foods in India that I would like to try is Khoya Chicken. Khoya Chicken consist of khoya witch is a thickened milk is used widely in North Indian cooking usually in all kinds of desserts and has chicken witch is cooked in a onion and tomato gravy and finished with grated khoya for the last few minutes as it finishes. I would like to try this dish because it's a different food but, I might like it if tried it and it looks delicious. Also an other food I would like to try is Sevian, it's supposed to be sweet and it I would like to try a new dessert that has some things that normal desserts don't have like cardamom. What foods would you like to try from India?
Ps to find the dessert scroll farther down on the same page as the link

The wide variety of India
For this blog post, I decided to choose from vast choices of India. India is a place with a wide variety of foods, religions and traditions. If you see many fireworks along with lights in the sky, you're probably celebrating the Festival of Lights in India. If you see flags and kites fly up into the air, you’re probably celebrating India’s Independence day. Continuing on to the foods, it starts from a plate of yummy butter chicken, a serving of Biryani, Idli Dosa Vada with Sambar and finishes off with a bowl of Rasam. Places to go to? Well, you’ve got The Ganges, Humayun’s tomb and Hawa Mahal. My favorite place is the Taj Mahal, because of the beauty of the great building along with the river going through it, it is amazing. What do you like the most about India?
Indian Curry!!!!!!
There are
many types of Indian Curry ranging from spicy to mild. I've tried curry and I
noticed that some of them are good while others don't satisfy my choices of
taste! Curry is a spice eaten all around the world! I’ve eaten it in Africa, Portugal,
and America! Curry can be made of ground spices and meats like chicken can be included to the curry. Many people love curry because of its unique and sometimes
spicy taste! For example, my Friends dad loves spicy curry while his mom likes
her curry mild. What kind of curry would you eat?
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Tshechu!
Tshechu is a festival in Bhutan that literally means "tenth day". It starts on the tenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, and goes on for three days. Everybody goes to the capitol, wears masks and beautiful garments, and dance in the streets. The dancing is believed to help wash away your sins, so you can be clean. It originally got started when a Nyingmapan scholar, Padmasambhava, came to Bhutan to heal the king and help spread Buddhism. He healed the king by dancing in the fields. Since the king was so grateful he helped spread Buddhism throughout the country, and that's when the festival started. They continue to dance during this festival just like Padmasambhava did. I think that this festival is very unique and interesting because I have never heard of anything like this before. Would you want to go to Bhutan to witness this amazing festival?
Bhutanese Cuisine? YES
As you know, every country has its own specialties, for foods I mean. In Bhutan, the specialty is dairy products, or (to be more specific) butter and cheese from cows or yaks. I've never had yak cheese, but I would try it! A lot of meat such as chicken, mutton, yak meat, pork, beef, goat, and fish. They are usually consumed in the form of tshoem, or stew, along with a variety of spices. All meals in a Bhutanese cuisine are always accompanied with white rice, or ha chum (as said in Bhutan). Almost all dishes there have (or are served with) Chillies! The chillies there are supposed to be very spicy, and they truly value the chili as a very important vegetable, not just a seasoning. If you went to Bhutan, would you try the food there?
Nepalese Cuisine!!!
Nepal provides a wide range of food, because of the cultural and geographic diversity. One of their most popular dishes is dal-bhat-tarkari, which is rice with black lentils and vegetable curry, and much of the cuisine is a variation on Asian themes. Some foods have hybrid Tibetan, Indian and Thai origins, like momo, a Tibetan dumpling with Nepali spices. They were originally filled with buffalo meat (buffalo!), but now also with goat, chicken, or vegetarian preparations. They have also introduced a lot of European and American foods into their cuisine, and have taken to ramen noodles for fast food. Would you want to try that food? I think a lot of it sounds good.
Bizarre Food
There is lots of weird, bizarre foods in India. Even though there is lots of them, I'm writing about some of them. Such as frog legs. People say that the frog legs taste like chicken and have bones. Although I like the taste of chicken, I would never try to eat this gross frog leg. There are many more bizarre foods. Silkworm's pupa, pig's brain, and red ant dip is some of them. The second last food I'm gonna show you guys is dog meat. In South Korea, I've seen restaurants selling dog meat. I've never tried it before and never will. They eat dog meat in India. That is gross. I would rather eat dirt instead of dog meat. What will you eat if you had to eat dog meat or dirt?
