Africa's Super Telescopes
Africa has many high powered telescope observatories due to little light pollution in the air making it it very easy to see far into the night sky. Africa is also home to one of the largest single optical telescopes in the world. One of their famous and powerful telescopes would be able to see a candle light on the moon, and see light that is a billion times to faint to see with the naked eye. They have discovered many things with their telescopes such as new planets and even astroids! They believe that astronomy should be a very important and prioritized investment. What kind of discoveries do you think could come from putting time and effort into visual space exploration?
