Aye-Aye Captain....Well Something Like That
Have you ever heard of an Aye-aye? I bet not. They are an endangered species in Madagascar. To me it looks like a cross between a bat and a monkey. Well, the monkey part is obvious because it is a primate. Their numbers are depleting quickly due to deforestation and also the local villages were slaughtering the primates just because of their appearances. The adult aye-ayes are about the size of a new-born baby, well, more like a premature baby. They grow-up to be about sixteen inches and to weigh about four pounds. They are also being treated cruelly for eating crops even though they don't eat much. Even though they are being protected and have some reserves they are still very much endangered.
