Look Out It's An Elephant!
With tons of cool and exotic species in South Africa, it is no wonder that there are more than 20 National Parks in the country. Two of them are world famous, Kruger National Park and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, and both are located in the Northern parts of South Africa. Since the wildlife is so spectacular, South Africa is a big attraction for those who want to go on a safari. On December 30, a British school teacher and her fiance` visited Kruger National Park and were attacked by an elephant! Apparently this elephant was going through Musth a period when male elephants' testosterone is 60 times higher than normal. He became agitated when the couple were filming him and charged the car. Mrs.Brooks, the teacher, was speared through her thigh by the tusks, but she will recover soon and her fiance wasn't injured. What do you think about this elephant attack?

I think the attack of the elephant was very funny, as bad as that sounds. It's kinda interesting how the elephants testosterone was 60 times higher and it then attacked the couple. Although it's kind of funny, I would be super scared if I was one of the two people in the car, especially the woman who got an elephant tusk through her thigh. What do you think they should do about future elephant attacks?
ReplyDeleteBrett...that photo of the elephant and the car is amazing! Spread that one around...everyone needs to see that!
