Modern Cultures: Looking to Africa for... Business ties?
Africa has a lot of interesting and diverse news, ranging from extinct species to interesting landforms to new laws being passed. Africa has a lot of potential for growing and developing as a nation. That being said, Japan has recently looked to Africa for economic links, saying that "Africa carries the hopes of the world". They have pledged to increase aid and investment into Africa, and focusing on most of the continent's young people. The Japanese have really helped Africa by adding time, effort, money, and troops for their peacekeeping force. How much longer do you think it will take for other countries to look to Africa, too?

I think that It is a good idea for Japan to invest in Africa. I believe that soon enough it will catch on with other countries. I believe it will take a little while for other countries to have trust in Africa, and what they are saying. I think that people shouldn't have second guesses about out this. I think its good that Africa has a chance to show what they have in store.

I'm very surprised with the news that Japan is investing on Africa, even though they have the leaking nuclear power plant to take care of that has already cost millions of dollars. Now that Japan a communist country is helping people in Africa, I don't think it will take long for other countries to help too, but I'm a little worried about Japan only helping young people. Like there might be protest against Japan because they're won't help the elders don't you think? Also something that adds to my skepticism, in recent news, it states that Japan officials are trying to expand their diplomatic reach to other countries, although when the officials were questioned they furiously denied it. Are they truly helping Africa? What do you think.
