It is kind of ironic that the king who ordered the two brothers, Romulus and Remus to be killed was later killed by these two brothers. Maybe that's where the say "What comes around, goes around"...or was that about the boomerang??
ReplyDeleteWow! I never knew that the Rome was built by Romulus and Remus. Rome was a big part of the history. Punic Wars was one of the main wars. Punic Wars was the conflict of interests between the existing Carthaginian Empire and the expanding Roman Republic. By the end of the third war, which took more than hundred years, both side lost hundreds of soldiers. But by the end Rome won the war and became a strong state.
