Desert or Dessert?
Did you
know that the Middle East has lots of amazing land forms like plateaus, mountains, deserts and so many others?(OK maybe they aren't amazing but they’re
still cool) my favorite I have to say is the Arabian Desert. It’s one of the
largest deserts in the world spanning up to around 900,000 sq mi that’s crazy big. It stretches from Yemen , to the Persian Gulf and the other side
stretches from Oman to Jordan and to Iraq . The Arabian desert also contains lots of smaller deserts inside of it like the An Nafud
Desert, which is famous for its sand dunes that can be up to 100ft high. It also has the Ar Rub' Al Khali Desert known for having dunes up to 25 miles big and being almost moisture less. What’s your
favorite land form in the middle east?
