The Palm Islands are man-made islands on the coast of United Arab Emirates, or more specifically Dubai. The Palm Islands is a group of Islands shaped like a palm tree. The amazing thing about the islands is that they are structurally supported so the people in the area can inhabit the islands. The Islands are increasing the tourist economy and improving the fishing industry by the minute! The Islands are named Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali because of their meanings. Now, could we build islands like this in Lake Michigan?

Dubai sounds like a very interesting and cool place and the islands look awesome. I've always have had a dream of having a vacation to Dubai and sky diving and being able to see the islands from above. Also I've heard that owning a house in Dubai costs a lot! And finally I think it would be awesome if the government built islands like these in Lake Michigan because we would only be a few hours away from an awesome vacation.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be amazing to go and see the palm Islands as a tourist. It would be so cool to go and see them from above in an airplane or helicopter. They’re the biggest man made structure in the world and they can even be seen from space. I just think it would be amazing to live there or near there. It’s like a vacation all the time. If we could do that on lake Michigan, what do you think we would make?
