So Many Different Faces

The Central Asian country of Uzbekistan is a landlocked country that used to be part of the Soviet Union.  Many people suggest that you travel there in the spring because the temperature is scorching hot in the summer.  Uzbekistan is home to many beautiful mosques, domes, and churches. The country of Uzbekistan also has a very diverse population of ethnic religions.  The most popular language in Uzbekistan is by far Islam with a population in 2009 of 96% of Uzbekistan being Muslim.  Now you know more about Uzbekistan and I know I would like to visit it the question is Would you?

    I'm not so sure I would like to visit Uzbekistan. The United States does not have a good history with that country. We recently killed one of their leader with a drone strike. This area also has a history of violence. So it may have beautiful places to go and see but I might want to go to a safer location, such as Hawaii!

    I would like to visit the country for the different architecture, but i have to agree with Sean about how the United States having a bad history with Uzbekistan. The domes and churches would be cool to see because we don't have anything like that around Lansing. I would much rather go to France where you can see the cool views like the Notre Dame without having to worry about having your hotel room be burnt to the ground. Would you agree?
