The Ancients

Social Studies is not my favorite subject , but the Ancients are quite interesting specifically there writing and arts, also the three time periods of the kingdom, each time period had an event. The old kingdom's event, The old kingdom pharaohs kept the peace and treated with Nubia, with only occasional conflicts.Toward the end of the old kingdom, governors in the provinces began to challenge the power of the pharaohs' government. Egypt's unity crumbled, and the dynasties grew weak.The middle kingdom- Pharaohs spent the nation's wealth on the public works instead of an wars, they grew weaker and less able rulers followed. in time , they lost control of the country to foreign invaders.The new kingdom- The Egyptian princes became strong enough to drive out the foreign invaders.This event marks the start of the new kingdom, which began in 1567 B.C.They created huge armies of foot soldiers, mounted warriors, and charioteers. Bronze swords and body armor mad them unbeatable. What do you think about the three periods of the kingdom

    the people of summerian worshiped many gods, and beliefs. The myths that summerians belived was that the gods will punish them if they make them made.Another myth that they belived was if there nice and kind to the gods they would get a reward. They are not all good gods no there are some really bad gods that they beleved. Also the summerians honerd them so much that they washed them before and after the ceremonies. In the ceremonies there were music and food there they first had to show the gods what they were eating and then the could eat the food.what instruments did they have at the ceremonies.
