The Maps of the Ancient Greeks!!!

Have you ever wondered where or who made maps, well the ancient Greeks did, it all started when , there wasn't any maps except for vague interpretations that may have been written by sailors. It's not until the Greeks, that maps were created in the way we know them. It was Anaximander who created maps with the concept of latitude and longitude, it was later that Greeks Eratosthenes and Strabo who created maps of the entire known world at the time . What do you think would've happened if they didn't invent it?

  1. That is interesting how the Greeks invented the version of maps that we use now! It is cool how the maps that we use in present-day were created such a long time ago. I wonder why the longitude and latitude maps were created before the maps of the entire world?

  2. Wow, you picked a very interesting subject! Who knows what would happen without maps we have now! No one would know where to go. The map eventually would be invented but who knows when, it could be in 3000 years. Who knows? As I said before nice job! What do you think will happen without maps?
