The Nile S-Mile

 The Nile River has a lot of history.  Going back to the ancient Egyptians there was a yearly flood, which in today’s world is typically a very bad event.  However, this flood became a great thing for the Egyptians.  Because the flood was the reason they became self-sufficient and found farming to be a way of life.  Each year the flood would cause the silt to flow over the banks of the river, and they found the silt to be awesome material to grow things in.  While I find most things in ancient history to be boring, I thought this was an interesting fact.
