Gifts of The Nile

            The Nile is a great river, and is helpful in many ways. When the Nile comes down stream, it brings rich, fertile sediment called silt. Silt is a very helpful soil found on the bottoms of rivers. By the time summer is over, the Nile was all the way to the delta flooding, everything. The waters that flood delta make it great to farm there, because of the great silt that is in the ground. The people in Egypt praised Hapi, the god of the Nile. They said a prayer that goes like this: “Hail you, O Nile, who flows who comes to keep Egypt alive.” What are some other gifts of the Nile that I didn't write?
