Growth of The Ancients
Some farming settlement evolved into cities over time, but on the other hand others did not. Cities developed richer soil appose to other areas. Since the cities had rich soil they often had a surplus of food. Some earlier cities developed on the banks of large rivers, such as the Nile, Tigris etc. Early Cities also eventually developed building for many different uses such as storing grain, temples etc. Cities also developed a variety of occupations other than the usual farming. And eventually when populations grew to a large amount they had to establish goverment to settle disputes, managed public buildings etc. So do you think you could found a city, and how would you do it.
