This NBA controversy needs to stop. I think that the racist comments made by Donald Sterling were very inappropriate and should be penalized like they have been. I believe that the NBA did the right thing to ban him from the entire league. I understand about what you said, Mr. Hopper, but still it wasn't appropriate at all to say what he did. Sterling can still watch the basketball games from his TV like the rest of us, but I don't believe he should be able to do any further thing than that. I would be completely embarrassed to even watch the Clippers play on TV if I were Sterling! It would make me feel awful inside, and hearing what everyone says about him, I don't know what I would do if I were in his shoes. The only doubt I have about this is that the ban consequence may be too far. I think they could maybe tone down the fine a little bit but I think it was reasonably fair. What do you think about the ban and fine?

Wow Evan I really agree with your thoughts. I think you are right about the fine situation. They should tone it down just a little bit though. I actually did some more research on Sterling, and it said that Donald initially was going to be fined 5 million, but it went own to 2.5 million as you said. Also their is some really shocking news. Donald has been battling cancer. I still don't think he has the right to do what he did. Thanks for sharing Evan!
