Rice Terraces are the best place in Asia to find rice and mountains!...........well actually there's a lot of places in Asia like this but this place is still the best!
Of all the activities you can do in the mountains and hills of Southeast Asia, such as falling, camping, fighting off natives, and collecting stuff, hiking is probably my favorite, luckily you can look at rice grow and hike in the Ifagao Rice Terraces in the Philippines. These rice terraces grow rice (obviously) and are a fantastic sight from the mountains and hills. But if you dislike hiking and mountains you could stay in the villages for a while then talk to the villagers, who don't speak English. Really the Rice Terraces are amazing and also have a long history. They are built on the steepest slopes of any terrace farming system in the world. The terraces have stayed culturally the same unlike the rest of the Philippians because this area was not colonized by foreign nations. Its a great way to connect with the environment and the out of doors. Even if you don't like rice its still a grand location to stay for a while. My question is where would you want to go in Southeast Asia or if you'd like to go to the rice terraces, although looking at rice plants seems like it might be boring. I often struggle with spelling, in fact just now I misspelled struggle earlier in this sentence and if It weren't for spell check then this blog would be littered with spelling errors. Although spelling Isn't something that I can point out three examples of due to spell check, but correct usage of commas is something I can show.
