Raising to new heights with Mount Kinabalu

Mount Kinabalu is the tallest mountain in Malaysia. The summit reads 13,435 feet above sea level. The first recorded climb of Mount Kinabalu was in 1851 by a British colonial administrator. Then in 1964 Kinabalu national park was created and by 2000 it was a world heritage site. Kinabalu’s name is a mystery. The most popular view derives it from the Kadazan words, Aki Nabalu, meaning ‘the revered place of the dead’. The local Kadazan people believe that spirits dwell on the mountain top.If you were in good shape and ready for a tough challenge, do you think you would be prepared to execute this treacherous climb?
I often struggle with word choice.
