Cricket

Cricket is a sport played by many people that live in India. Cricket is kind of like baseball but one thing that makes the game a little bit different is instead of in a diamond they are in a rectangle field but they are both run by innings and both try to get run but the bats are different one is round at the top but the cricket bat has a flat top so it can have a better hit. Would you ever play this game?

    Cricket is a very Interesting game, but it is not only played in India it’s also played in Nepal, Pakistan, and all over Asia. Cricket like you said is very similar to Baseball but with only two innings. In Cricket there are some differences from Baseball to Cricket. There are such things called Wickets. Wickets are two wooden polls like sticks made up of a set of three stumps topped by a pair of bails.

    The game Cricket is the most popular sport in India. The India national cricket team won the Cricket World Cup in 1983. The name may have been derived from the Middle Dutch, meaning a stick; or the Old English cricc or cryce meaning a crutch or staff.
