When the president of Africa Jacob Zuma told Africa that Nelson had passed they were devastated. Soon his death went on the news everywhere and almost most of the people in the world knew about it, but the people in Africa were the most sad. People in Africa were most sad because he was the one who helped blacks get there freedom. December 5 was his funeral and people all around the world people came to it. Addition to more than 100 current and former heads of state or government. Nelson Mandela was a great man and will always be honored dead or alive. What do you think of Nelson Mandela?

I remember the day of his death, it was very sad. I also saw how many people appreciated him and how they celebrated his life, it is amazing how many people respected Mandela. I saw that they held a really well organized funeral! I definitely think that he should be recognized for all of his hard work to end Apartheid, and fought segregation! He pretty much spent a little less than half of his life in jail. People believed Mandela lived a long life, he died because of Natural causes the day of December 5th 2014. I think Nelson Mandela was an amazing, strong hearted, did i mention A-M-A-Z-I-N-G man! He worked very hard and i think he died a happy man, he will always be in everybody's heart.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first heard about Nelson Mandela's death, it felt like a powerful icon of freedom for the world but mostly Africa was torn down. He was such an inspiration to people that a British newspaper referred to him as "President of the World." Before long, flags were flying all around the world as people went to South African embassies to send their condolences. Some people even cried as they set down flowers at the foot of his statue.
