Is adopting children in Africa bad for them?
According to Manya's post there are some things that are bad for kids in Africa when they are adopted. For example those kids are exposed to new sicknesses. I find that this is a good reason for why they are in danger. Other reasons like people looking down upon them doesn't make sense to me because I would think they have a better life here.I would take safety food and judgement over almost dying and everyone around me dying. Obviously there are going to be people who don't dislike you and actually respect the adopted child. There are people who don't like adopted children but there are also people who do. So would you adopt a child from Africa knowing you saved their life but exposed it to new diseases and people might bully him/her more or no?

I totally agree with you but It might not be the best idea for an African kid to come to America. And when they come to the U.S. the have to pass a series of tests and quite a few vaccines. So therefore it would be perfectly safe for them to come to the U.S. and live their life as they want you. Being sick is a part of life and it makes the kid learn new thing like how antibiotics can help them at a time like that. And now days Bulling has almost stopped completely in the U.S. and every year our school accepts new people from different countries. So if you want to adopt an African child you better pick a good enviorment for the child your adopting them.
