roman numerals. All of the numbers used in the roman system are all seven
symbols, X 10, L 50, C 100, D 500, and M 1,000. Roman numerals are now written
with letters of the Roman alphabet, but they were originally independent
symbols.

The Roman system is much more confusing, although it would be if we grew up learning the numeral system. I find the system more simpler and easier to use than the regular American numbers. There is the simple rule of 3, and less symbols to memorize. To me, it would be much simpler if the Roman system was used.
